Videos are great idea. The big picture the people and the bazaar idea of strapping a camera on the back of a player, all collect to give a great picture. Excellent education and promotion of the underwater hockey experience.

Great idea done so far with game, interviews and dynamic critter-cam. Could any training video clips come of it. (for actual players rather than just for newbies). Im sure newbies would benefit as well.
Thanks

Hi,
These are excellent videos, as many others have said. However, at the current quality the text is difficult to see due to the compressions - are there high resolution / low compression versions of the videos available?
They would be excellent for giving presentations to people, as I'm trying to set up a new club.
Thanks,
David |

Hi David,
Appreciate comment.
We were experimenting with presentation of the footage to dish out information.... the concept of the criter-cam angle point of view.... then the collection of sample video... then the music... then the idea (instead of narration) of having bit of ''info'' to get thinking about the bigger picture '' the shape of the team''.
In the finished original we were pleased with idea, but then comes the bandwidth restriction when considering the web. Weve put it out as is for now, just so the concept is now a product.
To ressolve the ressolution issue, we need to increase our band width (which we are doing in near future) this, as you mentioned will allow higher res vids to be received your end. Be patient, thanks.
To start a club is a great concept. We were looking for a story as a feature for the site about this sort of endevour... perhaps fill us in on area, and reasons for idea, and we perhaps could work more directly with media/video presentation, stimulation type work. (weve nearly got to the juicy bit now all the research and fiddling around with our concept ideas has been financed to point of near production).

Exellent project. Noticed when you popped an excerpt on YouTube, a whole lot of other people found snippets and tried to follow - they are not as thought out as your productions, but it is good to see you influence others to try. Good influence for the game as a whole. About time someone took the lead in a professional way.
All support to you

Yes. All the accolades are well deserved here. I have put your site as a link on our club site here in the Colonies. Our site is the first one that pops up if you put Palm Beach Underwater Hockey into Google. The Creature-Cam is great. I sent the link out for that page to all our players. This site (yours) is one that I will be telling everybody about. I hate to sound like everybody else, but, you have done a great work here. Thank you.

Letting people see the game, is what the project is setting out to do. Pleased it was helpful. Thanks for feedback Eric, and good luck with your future game experiences.

A good venture and a great innitiative! Pity the worlds people were up their own arses - but you wrenched free from the snare, well done. Good you have kept your own loyalty to innovation. The product is great and will benefit a lot of people and no doubt influence more in the media business to 'do it proper like'. Your work is good and I get the picture now that your recognition for it is catching on
